I am a qualified, professionally-registered psychotherapist and counsellor, a husband and father. With over thirty years experience in the corporate and academic world, I combine extensive clinical skills with a practical understanding of the stresses of modern life.
We work together at your pace; exploring your concerns, anxieties and sometimes irrational responses in a constructive, confidential and non-judgemental partnership; developing new ways of seeing and understanding unresolved issues that may be stuck in repetitive, destructive patterns that you cannot break.
Our goal is to initiate change. In developing your awareness and building upon skills and strengths, you will enable a new and positive perspective, improving the quality of your life and that of those you love.
Together we will then formulate ongoing strategies to maintain your sense of purpose and a proactive engagement with all that life has to offer.
Please note: counselling and psychotherapy are not yet covered by Medicare. However, although you may not be eligible for a rebate, my fee is equivalent to the Medicare gap, so the costs are comparable. You also do not require a referral from your GP and your therapy will not be listed upon your medical and insurance records.
