My name is Rebecca and I have over 20 years of experience helping people.
My interest is working with adults that have experienced developmental and relational trauma or are struggling with life transitions. I also have a special interest in working with young women and men who struggle with their body type and body image and utilise a ‘body positive approach’.
I am trained as a clinical psychologist but also draw on my own personal life experience as someone in a relationship and as a mother of 2 young children, recently returning from maternity leave. I have undertaken training in a range of therapeutic approaches however when I work with someone I guide them to identify what they need and explore how their situation limits and supports them having the life they desire. To support this I always prioritise the development of a healthy and robust therapeutic relationship.
I believe that early intervention and guidance of healthy sense of self are important to help you reach a fulfilling, happy and healthy life.
