Hi, my name is Anna and I am a counsellor and psychotherapist. I take a compassionate, warm and non-judgemental stance in my work with clients, with the primary of aim of supporting you to achieve your therapeutic goals.

I have worked in education, coaching, and counselling for the past 17 years, and have experience working with adults and adolescents. I welcome and work with all genders, ethnicities, religions, neurodiversities, and sexualities. I also continue to work as a researcher and academic in the areas of mental health interventions, gender based abuse, wellbeing, trauma, and education reform.

I have a special interest in working with those impacted by trauma, particularly victims of gender-based abuse, and have undertaken a wide range of trauma informed training, including ACT, CBT, CPT, and DBT. I am also interested in understanding the impacts of earlier life in shaping our responses and relationships.

You are welcome to contact me to briefly discuss your needs and goals, and establish what you may be seeking from me. This will also help us to get an idea of how suitable my therapeutic approach and style is for you.

Please look at my fees before booking. I also provide a small number of reduced fee appointments to those individuals who are experiencing genuine financial hardship.

This website is not a crisis intervention service. If you need help in a crisis, please call Lifeline on 13 11 14, or in an emergency, call 000.
